The chamber is supported by a volunteer Board of Directors comprised of leading identities from the Australian business community. The board meets at least eight times a year and directors are elected at the Annual General Meeting.
Who answers to whom
The chamber secretariat and its committees are accountable to the board. The board is accountable to the members.
The chamber represents and promotes the interests of its members and of Australian business in the region, through business-to-government relations with the Hong Kong and Australian governments, leading policy institutions and individuals.

The succession
Thirteen chairs, unbroken from 1987. The chamber publishes the full line on its own board page, which almost no chamber does, and it is the clearest thing it says about itself.

The CSR partners
The chamber is committed to giving back to the communities in which it operates. Its CSR partnership programme raises awareness of social causes, supports NGOs through fundraising, and gives members an opportunity to help build a better community.

Beyond these three the chamber works with local and international NGOs through one-off events and initiatives, and offers Hong Kong NGOs access to its community, professional development and network through an NGO membership.
